Platform

One model of your warehouse. Four ways to move faster.

PickPath combines route optimization, slotting, wave planning and performance analytics to make every warehouse faster and more accurate, using the data already in your WMS.

DATA FLOW
  1. WMS data
    Orders, locations, inventory
  2. Layout model

MODULE 01

Route optimization

What it does

PickPath calculates the pick sequence for every order, batch or wave using your layout, zone restrictions, product locations and real-time congestion, so each tour covers the least distance.

Why it matters

Travel is usually the largest share of pick time. Cutting it raises lines per hour without adding headcount, and routes adjust during the shift as congestion, stockouts and priority orders change.

Typical uses

  • E-commerce warehouses reduce pick-to-ship time during peak season
  • 3PL providers optimize routes across multi-client inventory zones
  • Grocery DCs minimize time spent in cold storage zones

MODULE 02

Slotting optimization

What it does

PickPath analyzes order history, product velocity and pick frequency to recommend where each SKU should live, putting fast movers in the most reachable, ergonomic faces.

Why it matters

Good slotting shortens every future route and reduces reaching and bending. Recommendations keep up as demand shifts, instead of waiting for an annual reslot.

Typical uses

  • Warehouse managers reslot inventory before peak season
  • Operations teams plan new facility layouts before go-live
  • Continuous slotting adjustments as demand patterns change

MODULE 03

Wave planning

What it does

Orders are grouped into waves that balance workload across zones, minimize picker congestion and line up with outbound shipping.

Why it matters

Balanced waves keep every zone productive and stop pickers from queuing in the same aisle, so carrier cutoffs are met without overtime.

Typical uses

  • Shift managers plan waves that keep all zones busy
  • Rush orders are absorbed without disrupting planned waves
  • Wave completion coordinated with outbound shipping

MODULE 04

Performance analytics

What it does

Dashboards track picker productivity, zone utilization, order cycle times and bottlenecks, live and as historical trends.

Why it matters

You can see whether a change to routing, slotting or waves actually improved throughput, and spot problems while the shift is still running.

Typical uses

  • Supervisors watch zone utilization during the shift
  • Managers compare cycle times before and after a reslot
  • Custom analytics on Operations and Enterprise
